Because I saw some tweets saying that Han Jipyeong, an acclaimed venture capitalist, was a “rude, f*cked up, and abhorrent MF” for always giving straight-up facts to a gullible, hypocritical, and incredibly unprofessional trio of boys. What did he get in return? Being constantly blamed, blocked, and even got physically hurt because them boys couldn't take any criticism. Now who's rude and abhorrent? The one who nitpicked and gave advice to make an amateur team become better? Or those who resort to whining and violence because of their pride? Start-Up revolved mostly around Han Jipyeong and he was figuratively and literally the punching bag. He didn't even get a proper apology in the end. Ugh. I'm still so mad. Those who cannot understand this character are hopeless. Han Jipyeong will remain to be one of the most iconic and well-loved kdrama characters of all time.
