The MV Golden Ray, a 200-meter-long vessel specialized in transporting automobiles, overturned on September 8, 2019, in St. Simons Sound close to the Port of Brunswick in Georgia, USA. Ultimately deemed irreparable, the ship was dismantled and disposed of as scrap.
