Camping In The Rain & Snow | GX 460 Overland (River Crossings, Down Trees, Landslide, Snow)

This trip was definitely one to remember. There were so many hiccups however that is what makes a great adventure.
Starting with the rain, it was raining the perfect amount where it is relaxing and enjoyable. In addition to the stillness with the lack of wind. I normally hate rain but this time I enjoyed it.

I was expecting water levels to be high in the river how ever not that high. When I decided to cross the river I was expecting it to just be over the top of my tires however when the water came over the hood my heart sank. As soon as I pulled out of the water it was a big relief. I'm lucky to come out of that okay since I've seen many got their engine hydro locked in water 1/3 the depth. I also have my fender liner cut in the front when doing the bumper chop. After the crossing I drove around the forest for 100+ miles turning the engine on and off multiple times and it was just fine.
The next morning when I start the car to leave camp it misfired and the check engine light came on. I turned it off and poke around the spark plugs a bit which probably didn’t do anything and it started again perfectly fine. When I checked the air box later, all the dusts from my previous trip is untouched and the rear diff fluids looked fine.

There were many fallen trees that has been cleared but there were many that must have fell the same day. I even heard a tree falling when I just woke up, it sounded like gun shots or explosives.
I had to take many detours driving back and fourth. I did not plan to drive that much in the forest but the road blocks forced me to drive 250+ miles. Then the final surprise, the land slide. I was just on that road the previous day and it was just like normal but then another challenge comes and push mr on another detour that was beautiful but rough.
Overall it was very worth it and truly an adventure!
