West Australian water users are urged to visit the Sharksmart website for the latest information on shark activity before entering the water.

A new campaign has been launched to encourage use of the Sharksmart website as daily metropolitan beach helicopter patrols prepare for the 2016-17 season.

Surf Life Saving Western Australia (SLSWA) will begin their daily beach and aerial patrols from 1 October along Western Australia’s metropolitan coastline.

Shark sightings should be reported to Water Police on 9442 8600.
