In this weeks video, coaches Alan and Jay demonstrate a fun drill you can do to develop your decision making at the net in Singles.

The drill is called finishing Volleys. How it works, one player starts up at the net and the other at the baseline on half of the tennis court. The baseline player feeds the ball cross court and the net player must try to play a an attacking volley before playing out the point.

The key teaching point on this drill is the target zone in which the volley is hit to. The net player can either hit the volley to the open space making the baseline player run, or back behind the baseline player wrong footing them.
