Author Mary Roach writes books about science, but they're books about science that focus on the weird, visceral, hilarious human side of science. When she joined us at MaxFunCon in 2012, she took us on a tour of some of her favorite tidbits from her books, including the horrors and indignities of testing zero gravity toilets and when it's time to "bring in the guys who don't feel anything."
