This is a good welder, and I have enjoyed using this welder in my garage. It isn't Ground breaking, but the inverter technology is miles ahead of the old transformer based welders: it is MUCH lighter, and has actual power variability. There are specific applications where this would actually be my welder of choice!

I often have to weld from an extension cord. I have to climb multiple ladders, drag welders while crawling under equipment and around handrails just to do 10 minutes worth of welding. This welder is PERFECT for this. It even has a carry strap!

This is not the best welder I have ever used, but this machine welds great for the money, and especially for being a 15 pound, $200 welder.
