Today we are getting our landrace field corn in the ground. Over the last couple of years we have been experimenting with making our very own field corn variety by cross pollinating and saving only the corn with traits we want for seed. Our corn is a mix of Jimmy Red and Hickory King. This year we are also adding in a yellow corn called Truckers Favorite from HOSS (check link below).
