The new-generation Kia K4 sedan has made its public debut at the New York motor show ahead of an anticipated Australian launch late this year.

It’s a bigger, sleeker beast than the current Kia Cerato small car, headlined by the new 1.6-litre GT-Line turbo you see here – complete with an independent multi-link rear suspension that will be tuned for Aussie roads.

An incoming K4 hatch was also sighted in NY during a presentation, with both body styles heading our way and first customer deliveries due in the first quarter of 2025.
