πŸ’‘ About the Author, Katrina Bennet

In this book Katrina lightly addresses shyness, believing in what is being said even if it was a joke. Like most young people, overthinking and taking things to heart. Katrina is mostly a visual artist and had a lot of fun drawing up these characters. Having a few years of formal years training at Whitecliffe Collage of art and design. While at Whitecliffe, one of the professors picked up that she had dyslexia. Which had been one of her greatest sources of frustration. It was at Whitecliffe where she meets her now husband. Rasing two girls together and work, creative pursuits took a back seat. Borden and frustration took over and she started to draw and paint again. Stories started to form in her head from tiny doodles.
Chaos the kitten who broke the moon and Pandora the sea turtle was conceived. Thinking theses was one offs, their beloved family pets passed on. In their memory Bad Habits were created. After Bad Habits was published, a flood of ideas and characters poured in. Lucy Hoot was one of the those mad scribbles which finally got polished off and published.
