With so much new competition, you'd think that Mazda's current Mazda3 would be facing an uphill battle. Thankfully, Mazda has figured out how to design a competitive small car for the future and despite new competitors, the current 3 still holds its own in the crowded compact car segment. We are very much looking forward to the new version, but if you can't wait anymore, the 2018 model is still worth a look.
