Out the gate they wrote all their songs/Could sing 6 part acapella harmony / Did their own amazing choreography / Had 5 lead singers (including Foster) Looked better than any other group of that era / Collectively as a group The young Sylvers were one of the most impressive self contained singing groups that ever existed/ After my musical bio on The 5 Stairsteps got such an overwhelmingly positive response I thought it was time to tackle another extremely talented family. The Sylvers have endured many tragedies during their career (shout out to Olympia) but I always remembered the impact they had on 70's soul in the beginning. This is not meant as a knock on Boogie Fever or Hot Line (2 songs I happen to enjoy) Just a way to make sure their INITIAL impact is documented and NEVER forgotten
