I went on an early morning run/hike in West Glacier on July 9. The weather was clear and chill when I started up from The Loop parking lot toward the Glacier Park Chalet. The trail was steep to the chalet and I was only able to run about a mile till and hiked the rest of the 2 miles. The chalet was quiet, without even the smell of coffee. I continued on to the Grinnell Glacier over look, but meet this Grizzly. After our encounter I continued the 13 miles to Logan Parking Lot.
