Are you that person your friends and family turn to when they're having an issue with their technology? Perhaps you set up your parents with a new Mac because “it’s so much easier”, but then you realize that they aren’t used to any of it and need your help.

There's a really easy way to help your friends and family with their Mac and it doesn't require any complicated configuration. You can share their screen to view and/or control their Mac to get them past a technical hurdle they are facing. It’s SO MUCH easier than talking them through it over the phone!

Here are a couple of things to keep in mind first

1. You and the person you're helping has to be logged in to iCloud Messages on their Mac
2. This video applies to helping someone with their Mac, not their iPhone or iPad. There's no built-in way to share and control someone else's iPad or iPhone.
