This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new Audi Q4 e-tron luxury, electric compact SUV. Thank you to Audi Downtown Vancouver for lending us the Q4 50 e-tron to review. The Audi Q4 50-etron has 295 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque, it gets 388 km/236 miles of range, has an 82 kWh battery and quattro AWD. In the US, there is also a RWD model, the Audi Q4 40-etron with the same size battery but less power, 201 horsepower and more range, 265 miles.The Audi Q4 comes standard with LED headlights, available Matrix design headlights, LED taillights, heat insulating side and rear windows, high gloss black and chrome exterior accents, aluminum roof rails and 19” wheels, available 20”. The aerodynamic design of the Q4 features a low drag coefficient of 0.28 minimizing resistance. The Audio Q4 provides ample interior space and storage including, dedicated bottle holders on all four doors. There is a mix of hard plastic, piano black and soft materials including, leather seating. The integrated 10.1” touchscreen and 10.25” digital driver display gives it an upscale feel. It also has an available Sonos premium sound system with strategically placed speakers throughout the vehicle. The Audi Q4 e-tron is the first Audi to feature an available augmented reality head up display which provides real-time vehicle information directly in your line of sight. In Canada, the Audi Q4 50 e-tron starts at $59,950 CAD, you can add a variety of packages and a la carte items to get those extra features. In the US, the Audi Q4 40 e-tron RWD starts at $48,800 USD, Premium Plus $55,400 USD. Q4 50 e-tron $53,800 USD, Premium Plus $60,400 USD, Prestige $61,900 USD. The Audi Q4 e-tron comes with a 9.6 kW onboard charger. With a 240-volt outlet, it can fully charge in 9 hours and with a DC Fast charger, it can go from 5 to 80% in about 36 minutes. The Audi Q4 50-etron qualifies for the Federal tax credit of $5,000 in Canada as it is priced under $60,000 CAD and incentives are available in participating provinces. In the US, the 50 e-tron qualifies for a tax credit up to $7500.
