2021 Mustang 10 speed how to drive, you need to know this one thing before you go drive an automatic 10 speed mustang. I thought the transmission was great before I knew about sport mode which is the mode NOT on the toggle switch. The only way to get the car into SPORT mode is to move the shifter. You can't get the car and transmission into sport mode without moving the shifter. You can get it into SPORT + mode using the mode selector but that also changes the dampers. So if you want a mellow ride with more throttle response, always pull the shifter down into S!
