The Abbey Inn & Spa is one of my favorite destinations in the lower Hudson Valley region of New York. This is my room tour from a recent stay in the summer of 2022. I have a very special connection to The Abbey which I'll reveal in more detail on Mizzfit.com. The inn, overall, has a very boutique feel with a classic upscale vibe. The rooms are neatly arranged with neutral colors and calming unobtrusive decor. The focal point of my room was the window looking out at the beautiful grounds of the hotel where the hotel sits high above yet close to the Hudson River. My room felt crisp, airy and was warmly sunlit through the duration of my visit. I absolutely loved the bathroom! I'm a tough critic when it comes to hotel bathrooms, and this one was perfect. The shower was nice and hot with wonderful water pressure, and the lighting was magnificent for getting ready and makeup application. Gotta love a full mirror and plenty of shelf and sink-side space for my sundries! Lastly, the bed was king size, super soft and I literally melted into it every night. I couldn't have been happier in this 3rd floor room and look forward to returning to The Abbey for another exquisite stay!
