On October 11, 2018, I packed my car and left Los Angeles. I zigzagged across America (and Canada!), stopping to visit friends in Santa Fe, Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, Morristown, Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburgh, and Toronto. On November 5, 2018, I arrived in New York City, beginning what would turn out to be a crazy adventure.
