Sweet and savory tender bites of beef that you can make in less than an hour. Serve with a side of steamed rice and you’ve got yourself a complete meal.

Marinade
1 pound sirloin or ribeye
1 Tbsp light soy sauce
2 Tbsp oyster sauce
1 Tbsp fish sauce
2 tsp vegetable oil
1.5 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp crushed black pepper
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp dark soy sauce (optional)
1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

Quick-Pickled Onion Garnish
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup rice vinegar or white vinegar
(you can use lime juice if you don't like the taste of vinegar)
drizzle olive oil (1-2 tsp)
1/2 tsp salt
1.5 tsp sugar
black pepper
