How to make a resin dragon egg with no lathe

On this episode of Bens Worx I cast walnut burl in epoxy resin to make a resin dragon egg. I left it to cure in the pressure pot and then shaped it using a sander, I polished it up with some Yorkshire grit on the buffing wheel.
