You asked and in this review, we share our experience 50,000 miles and 3 years later on our Tesla Model X P100D ownership with an honest take. We covered service visits, an accident recap, range loss, issues with the doors/children, and give an honest opinion if we were to buy again. We think this Tesla Model X P100D review will help you if you're looking to buy a used Tesla in general or a used Model X.

While the Tesla Model X P100D is not perfect, looking at the big picture, the Tesla Model X P100D is an unbelievable SUV. Truly the Model X P100D is hard to believe that you can get this kind of performance, technology, and practicality in the year 2019. And now that it's depreciated, the Tesla Model X P100D is reasonably affordable. But, it does come with some compromises.

For example in 2019, we had to pay $1,400 to install a NEMO 14-50 outlet in my garage. That was an expense I had not figured into the calculations of this vehicle. I also am getting much less range than I should be. This car is rated at 285 and with my driving, at least in the first week, I was averaging 100 miles less per charge. I cover after three years of ownership, the range loss since buying in 2019 really has not degraded that much. But, it's still far lower than what Tesla states it should be.

In this Tesla Model X P100D 2.0 review video, we covered really our ownership experience to date. This includes the Tesla Model X P100D service visits where we mention replacing tires every 10-15k miles, the replacement of the upper control arms, the window trim, upgrading the MCU, issues with the gullwing doors, our accident recap, range loss, room in the back seats and more. We also launched the Tesla Model X P100D, discussed our love out AutoPilot 1.0, and took a little POV drive in the country.

In this 2.0 recap video, we do demonstrate Tesla's Model X P100D self-driving technology, and Tesla Model X P100D performance. I also show you the Tesla Model X P100D interior and Tesla Model X Falcon Wing doors. The Tesla Model X P100D is extremely good, it's fast, quiet and frankly fun to drive. The Tesla Model X P100D is scary fast, the truly mind-bending speed with a zero to 60 in under 3 seconds. Even after three years and 75,000 miles. the old Tesla Model X has not lost here performance capabilities.

The Tesla Model X P100D as equipped cost $158,500 before tax credits and state taxes and title fees. This Tesla Model X P100D has the dual motor, premium package, upgraded HiFi sound system, upgraded 22-inch wheels, red calipers, enhanced self-driving autopilot, 6-seat configuration, upgraded supercharger, and automatic doors. Today, this Tesla Model X is probably worth around $50-$60k if it had no accidents.

This Tesla Model X P100D is going to continue to be our daily driver for some time. Please post your respectful comments and questions. I am all for positive dialogue about the vehicle and will be happy to answer your questions regarding my experiences with the Tesla Model X P100D to date.
