Well, time to put my money where my mouth is. My 1957 Chevy convertible is getting top coated with $70 a gallon red implement paint.

Red, the car had to be red! Well I learned red automotive paint is EXTREMELY expensive so I tried my luck with some Massey Fergusson tractor paint.

We started off pretty good, a few runs along the way didn't help but overall an adequate paint job. Wet sanding and polishing will bring this paint job from "okay" to "fantastic"!
