Actor Zachary Quinto posted an Instagram video expressing his thoughts on the SAG-AFTRA strike and encouraging members to join the picket line and stand strong with their union.

“Solidarity is the only way that we are going to get what we are asking for in this negotiation,” Quinto said.

He posted another video on Instagram, continuing his encouragement for members and non-members to “show up.”

“This negotiation will determine the future of our industry for years to come,” he said. “It will define your ability to provide for your families. It will define your ability to be creative and to make a living doing what you love.”

It has been 104 days since SAG-AFTRA began their strike in mid-July, and there has yet to be an agreement between SAG-AFTRA and AMPTP (The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers).
