Hi everyone! Always grateful for your support! Enjoy my walk at Downtown Mountain View. This was recorded on an August 13, 2023. I’ll share more of my experience later. In the meantime, I did a research on this amazing town. The following is from the internet:

Downtown Mountain View is a mixed-use, walkable city-center for residents and visitors alike. Located on Castro Street between Evelyn Avenue and El Camino Real downtown offers restaurants, shopping and performing arts near transit, a civic center and plaza. In addition, Downtown is home to many small to mid-size start-up technology companies.

Castro Street is the main street that spans across seven blocks, forming the downtown area of Mountain View, California. The street is lined with a number of restaurants of several cuisines, as well as bars and nightclubs for your entertainment. Several shops are also lined along the street. The street is at the center of culture and arts as well, with events such as Mountain View Art & Wine Festival held here.

Mountain View was integral to the early history and growth of Silicon Valley, and is the location of many high technology companies. In 1956, William Shockley established Shockley Semiconductor Laboratory in Mountain View, the first company to develop silicon semiconductor devices in Silicon Valley. Today, Mountain View houses the headquarters of many of the world's largest technology companies, including Google and Alphabet Inc., Unicode Consortium, Intuit, NASA Ames Research Center, and major former and current headquarter offices for Microsoft, Symantec, 23andMe, LinkedIn, Samsung, Quora and Synopsys.

Nestled between the Santa Cruz Mountains and San Francisco Bay, Mountain View is a diverse community ideally located in the middle of the Silicon Valley (10 miles north of San Jose and 35 miles south of San Francisco). At just over 12 square miles, the City is home to approximately 75,000 residents, many nationally and internationally known corporations, and a thriving small business base.
From outdoor entertainment and recreation to technological industry and a thriving Downtown shopping district, Mountain View entices visitors to enjoy all it has to offer. Explore the City by playing in over 1,000 acres of park and wildlife areas, dining at delectable restaurants, watching live performances at the Mountain View Center for Performing Arts and Shoreline Amphitheatre, discovering the historic Rengstorff House, and visiting the Computer History Museum.
Mountain View is easily accessible from a variety of public transit systems with daily operating schedules. The CalTrain rail system (which chose the City as a stopping point for the Baby Bullet Commuter Train), the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) Light Rail and bus lines, as well as numerous bike paths serve residents and visitors with excellent transportation options.
