This is going to be a video on how to turbo your m103 2.6 or 3.0 inline 6 mercedes engine with the standard cis setup. I apologize in advance for the video quality im a mechanic that is new to the recording world im going to try my best to do breakdowns for everyone on all things to do with the 80s and 90s mercedes. The parts list you'll need to do a full turbo setup is going to be

- turbo manifold ( there are many different places to get the turbo manifolds just do a quick search online I got mine from desert designz)

- oil feed and oil drain hoses (you can usually find kits that come with both and the bolts needed for the turbo

- turbo ( I'm not going to tell you you have to get a name branded turbo or some cheap turbo this is entirely up to you keep in mind you can not add more than 8lbs of boost with the stock cis setup if you want more you need to add efi)

- exhaust vband or downpipe adapter to start your exhaust this will vary on what turbo style you get

- 10AN fitting with a nut on the back for the oil pan you CAN NOT tap the oil pan its to thin I've seen many issues with people trying to do this

- intercooler piping if you want to do the same setup I have you only need a single 45' angle piece

- blow off valve pick the right size for the turbo you chose

- external wastegate if your turbo doesn't have one built in

- silicone hoses for your intercooler piping from turbo to Throttle body

- oil filter sandwich they are all universal just pick a color you want.

- exhaust piping if your going to do it yourself or take it to a shop

- 02 bungs for the stock 02 sensor and a wideband so you can keep an eye on your afr

- boost gauge so you can make sure you don't go over 8lbs of boost

- vacuum hoses for boost gauge, bov, waste gate, ect

- stuff for oil change because you will be doing an oil change

Those are the items you'll need to turbo your car; I didn't show you in the video because everyone's setups will be different and 90% of the parts we used on this turbo build is stuff we have had laying around to make this turbo kit. All of the tools used in this video are pretty simple tools no special tools were needed to do this build other than a welder. We will be doing a few more videos on this build to show you how we have our set up driving videos and tuning videos. If you would like to see anything in particular or have any questions feel free to ask away I've done many turbo setups with the cis on different cars with this engine it's very simple compared to other engines and setups. We hope you enjoyed the video thanks for watching see you in the next videos.
