In this video I go over how to examine a well-used CR-30, and get it fired up for its first print. I'll be playing with this machine a bit, but, well, the video's long as it is. This particular CR-30 was used for production, and has paid for itself in little plastic rocks many times - but its owner wanted to standardize on IDEX machines for the increased print speed. I do plan to bring the CR-30 into use as a demonstration printer, but it's the kind of curiosity that a part-ejection-enthusiast like myself couldn't pass by.
I spend most of the time going over the machine, as it's new to me - which I'd expect many folks can relate to, since used 3D Printers are becoming more common. If you do want to fix up a new-to-you printer you'll hopefully find some good information within.
