How to Make Fast and Effective Fantasy Armor Details using Foam Triangle Dowels. Want to speed up your crafting time with an awesome cosplay armor trick...it's the power of Foam Dowels! In this video I go over how to apply my 10mm HD Foam Triangle Dowels to some basic fantasy armor pieces for quick and elegant details. This is also a super simple solution for covering those annoying seams you get when joining two pieces of foam together. Plus I'll show you the steps I took to pattern and create some basic fantasy armor and the processes of painting / weathering it using heavy body acrylics.
My EVA Foam dowels are sold 2 to a package and each is 36" in length. They come in Round, Half Round, and Triangle shapes and in sizes of 10,15, and 20mm.
