Hello! I'm happy to come back with good news about Denver & our family for what feels like the first time ever since I started sharing Denver's struggle with Neonatal Marfan Syndrome. He's breathing better than ever, his heart is doing good & he's gained weight ( 25 percentile !!! ). How is this the same little boy that wouldn't get off the 3% weight curve & was chronically purple, even with oxygen supplementation?! We are so very happy to see him full of life, truly... There is no better medicine for us than knowing he's feeling better.

After a short PICU stay, he is back home with a G tube ( now a GJ ) & we are loving it! regardless, any procedure, especially with medically complex case like Denver, is a scare. It wasn't without hesitation to be put under, but ultimately Denver got to a good enough place that his team was ready and comfortable. We spent almost a year with a NJ for Denver, and I love how much of his face we can see without it :) & i know he likes to be rid of it as well!
