This video captures the remarkable journey of Mohamed Salah, and what he had to undertake to becoming a Champions league and Premier league winner with Liverpool! The Egyptian international had a tough childhood, growing up in Egypt, whereby he would have to travel 4-5 hours daily to get to play football, changing 4-5 buses as a result. He overcame adversity and remained determined and driven, which saw him go from El Mokawloon in Egypt, to FC Basel in Switzerland, to Chelsea in England, to Fiorentina in Italy, followed by AS Roma, and to finally Liverpool, where the whole world now knows who he is. His amazing performances for Liverpool, helped his club win the Champions League trophy in 2019, the most coveted prize in European football. The Egyptian international also won the African player of the year twice, as well as being top goal scorer three times, as well as coming 6th for the notorious Ballon d’Or award. This compilation touches on his early year struggles at Basel, his battle with a different culture, loneliness and homesickness, all the way to his recent success with Liverpool.
