This video captures a first person experience (Point of View) of riding the winward coast on the Big Island of Hawaii. The winward side of each island brings in the moisture, giving it a lush, green landscape full of ivy, giant trees, and water falls. Hilo is on the winward side of the Big Island and you can expect some sort of precipitation two out of every three days.

Renting a Harley, this ride takes us down the winward coast, starting at Waipi'o Lookout (the farthest public access point on the winward side) and ending in Laupahoehoe Point Beach Park .
