The Quest 3 is a great VR headset, the more I use it the more I love the ways in which it improves upon the Quest 2; better visuals, better FOV, better build quality, better PC VR, better passthrough and mixed reality experiences, it's better in basically every single way. However one area that the Quest 3 did not improve over the Quest 2 is the comfort of the device when using the stock accessories, the Quest 3 NEEDS accessories to become a comfortable VR headset that you can use for long periods of time. The problem is Quest 3 accessories are EXPENSIVE, now this isn't something exclusive to Meta, we've seen these kinds of accessory prices from Apple and Samsung over the years but it's still surprising to see a replacement plastic Quest 3 Elite Strap retailing for £69.99 when it feels like an essential purchase for anyone who wants to enjoy their shiny new headset for long periods of time.

All the accessories in this video were provided to me by Meta free of charge (except for the Bobo M3 Pro Strap), I'm eternally grateful for this but have to be honest about the pricing structure for them

Today we're looking at Quest 3 accessories and talking about the quality and pricing of them, most are built to a high quality for sure but ultimately they're bits of plastic with some fabric attached, nothing to truly justify the high mark-up that they are fetching.
