Americans got the European-looking liftback, with old powertrains, but with a manual gearbox option. The 11th-generation Honda Civic powered by a two-liter petrol engine with an i-MMD hybrid system has a claimed zero-to-hundred km/h time of between 7.8 and 8.1 seconds, depending on the trim.
