This episode of Thunderbolt Thursday is the Thunderbolt 5S.

The TDR-5S has some great Large Laser quirks, which also benefit the new Binary Laser Cannons. Even though the HSL for BLCs is now 3 (meaning you get ghost heat when you fire more than 2), they mech is still able to take advantage of the higher damage weapons with fewer hardpoints used.The mech can engage at at decent ranges to snipe while outside of optimum range of brawlers, but also has a good enough cool down on its lasers to do some skirmishing in the later game. It's a quick mech for a 65 tonner, and versatile; making it much like most other T-bolts - a jack of all trades.
