Westfield Bondi Junction will reopen today amidst tributes for the victims of the horrific stabbings which claimed the lives of six people.

This is the first official opening since the attack with most retailers set to open today, whilst some have opted to open later in the week.

The centre will open under its normal hours of 9:30am to 6pm with additional security and police presence.

The reopening follows a day of reflection, on which members of the community laid flowers amongst a beautiful tribute to those who lost their lives.

The Waverley Mayor has called on the NSW government to set up a permanent memorial at the site.
