Randy takes you through the installation process of ZZP's 1.4 Turbo Heat Shield for Sonic and Cruze. He's putting this one on a Gen II Sonic but it will also fit your Gen 1. This is a very straightforward install requiring few tools, which we feel is approachable even to beginners. Available in raw stainless and black Cerakote, our heat shield looks great and directs hot air away from your intake.

⚠ NOT MENTIONED IN VIDEO ⚠ When you add stainless exhaust components or heat shields, it is important to wipe off any fingerprints left behind after installation. These will be very difficult to clean off after the stainless components have gone through a heat cycle. It's always best to wipe the parts down before getting the vehicle up to temp.
