Video recording for smartphones with one lense is quite simple but as soon as you add multiple lenses and sensors into the mix it becomes very difficult to find ways to smoothly zoom fom one to another with focal length and position changes. The different sensors add up to the difficulty level as you might end up with a different white balance.
In this video I compare the current flagship phones and their performance when it comes to lense switching.
