Black Mirror is a British TV series created by Charlie Brooker. The series is based on The Twilight Zone and uses technology to comment on contemporary social issues. The series was originally commissioned by Channel 4 in the United Kingdom and premiered in December 2011. In September 2015, Netflix purchased the programme. A sixth series was released on 15 June 2023.
The series has yet to be officially renewed by Netflix for a seventh season, but Netflix France may have broken the news slightly early that more is on the way. Across two Tweets, Netflix France walked you through all the shows returning for new seasons. In the second Tweet, which has been deleted, they confirm that Black Mirror Season 7 is on the way.
A representative for Netflix declined to comment, but Deadline and Variety have confirmed our reporting that the show is returning.
