The man v/s wild conflict is a reality of our times, and one mustn't have to choose one over the other. The two, as Deputy Director, Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra Forest Department, G. Guruprasad points out, can not just peacefully coexist, but also flourish together. He takes us through the once exploited forest lands of Tadoba that are now a lesson in co-existence and compassion for all.

About G Guruprasad:

G Guruprasad is currently assigned as the Deputy Director at Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. He is responsible for the management and protection of the forest and wildlife spanning 1,30,000 hectares of land.
He has been instrumental in advocating eco-tourism. As a result, he has persevered in providing the local villagers an alternate livelihood to reduce their dependence on the forest resources. He strives to build a more peaceful relationship between humans and the wildlife.
