One of my friends asked me what I use to support my immune system without triggering a cytokine response (the kind that happens when those of us with autoimmune disease take elderberry).

TH1 dominant AI conditions (like Hashimoto's, Graves, Crohns', and Rheumatoid Arthritis (to name a few) can become overactivated by seemingly harmless immune-boosting substances like echinacea, panax ginseng, and medicinal mushrooms.*

TH2 dominant AI conditions (like Lupus, Scleroderma, and Ulcerative Colitis) can become overactivated by substances like quercetin, white willow bark, and turmeric.*

So where do we go from here when we want to support the immune but not get the AI irritated in the process?

In this video I talk about non-medicinal doses of turmeric powder, plus how I use some other common and super frugal items from my pantry and cupboard to keep my immune system supported and strong without triggering a cytokine response due to my Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and suspected Celiac diseases (and especially with my underlying primary immunodeficiency, Hypogammaglobulinemia throwing all the things off balance on occasion!)
