What’s up everybody. In todays video, I will be working on another idea to gain additional leg room and foot room in my 2020 Honda Talon 1000x4. Today's goal is to remove the left side foot shelf on the driver floor area. I have seen many Talon owners complain about this problem. This foot shelf was designed by Honda to stop your foot from going through the front left wheel well liner but it comes at a major price, sacrificed foot space and leg room. Riding longer than a short period of time with your left leg bent at an awkward angle, and your left knee raised high, puts additional stress on your foot, ankle, upper leg, and hips causing fatigue and pain on longer rides. As a tall rider, we need maximum leg room and foot room to comfortably ride the Honda Talon. When combining this floor modification with a driver seat lift modification, the Honda Talon becomes a much more comfortable UTV for tall riders.
