Cryptocurrency has gained a strong foothold in the world of finance and investment, with as many as 100,000 people worldwide regarded as Bitcoin millionaires. The price of bitcoin got a boost in February of 2021 when Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced the company’s foray into cryptocurrency by purchasing $1.5 billion dollars of Bitcoin. The company also announced that it would accept cryptocurrency as payment for its vehicles, increasing the value of the currency; in fact, it topped $50,000 within a week of the announcement. Finding Bitcoin millionaire’s isn’t easy because accounts are not public data. According to bitinfocharts, however, 8,110 accounts have more than $10 million worth of Bitcoin in them. We did our homework and narrowed down a list of ten known Bitcoin millionaires.

10. Erik Finman
The youngest Bitcoin millionaire on our list is Erik Finman, who invested a $1000 cash gift he received from his grandmother into bitcoin in 2011.

9. Jered Kenna
Jered Kenna was wise enough to see the potential of Bitcoin early on and invested in the cryptocurrency when it was only worth 20 cents a piece.

8. Dave Carlson
As an engineer at Microsoft, Dave Carlson supported Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto and amassed a fortune in Bitcoin to the amount of $350 million.
