So there is a new Frozen II trailer out in the wild, which means that we of course need to do some wild and out there speculation, because we are Screen Rant and that is what we do! That and pitch movies apparently, but we aren’t doing that here today…

No, instead we are going to talk about an idea that has been floating around the internet for a while now, the idea that Anna and Elsa’s parents survived their watery demise from the beginning of the first Frozen film, and instead found themselves stranded in a far away place, unable to make their way back to Arendelle for years.

And no, we aren’t going to talk about the Tarzan idea. At least not to any sort of extent.

Instead, we will be discussing the idea that the former King and Queen will be playing a role in the upcoming sequel. And it all comes down to an off-handed comment made by one of the directors, an old book, and some pretty in your face symbolism contained in both trailers.
