This qawwali song was written by Amir Khusro, a 13th Century poet also know as the "father of Qawwali music". Cheap Tilak has been sung previously by so many legends of the industry such as Abida Parveen and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to name a few. Salman Ali's energetic voice is perfect for the song and captures the essence of the lyrics as Amir Khusro would have wanted. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we did!
