Ingredients:
-2 cups of canned/cooked pureed pumpkin
-¾ cup sugar
-½ tsp. salt
-1 tsp. ground cinnamon
-½ tsp. ground ginger
-¼ tsp. ground cloves
-3 eggs
-1 can (12 fl oz.) Evaporated Milk
1 unbaked deep dish pie shell
Instructions:
-Preheat the oven to 425ºF.
-Mix the eggs, pumpkin, sugar, salt, and spices in a large bowl or mixer until well-blended.
-Slowly stir in the evaporated milk.
-Pour mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
-Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
-Without opening the oven, reduce the oven temperature to 350F and bake another 40-50.
-Insert a knife into the center and if it comes out clean then it's done!
-Cool on a rack for a couple of hours and serve or cover and refrigerate.
