I investigated a mysterious signal I discovered centered around 558 Mhz. What I found was this signal was coming from an experimental laboratory located at Humber Collage in Toronto. As it turns out this is the first ever ATSC 3.0 4K signal to be broadcast from within Canada. As I dug deeper I found their experimental license issued by ISED (Canadian FCC) Being this was an experimental broadcast it has not really known publicly.

The Humber College Broadcast-Broadband Convergence B2C Lab is the first of its kind in North America to be experimenting with the convergence of ATSC 3.0 and 5G.

It's really exciting to see such advanced technology taking place right here in Toronto, Canada and that I can even receive it at my home! Congratulations to all involved in making this possible!
