The Three Body Problem series, aka the Remembrance of Earth’s Past Trilogy, tells the story of humanity over the course of our existence in the cosmos. The series starts in the modern era and spans out to the end of time. Many significant events also take place before the opening of the story.

We Begin in the common era, which is any time up until the year 2010, all dates in the common era are marked with the epoch “CE” During the common era humankind remained ignorant of the true nature of the cosmos, and on the true nature of what waited even within as short a distance as four lightyears from our solar system.
