Abbey loves her eggs a certain type of way and her mom, Christine usually makes them every morning. But this particular morning, Christine stepped back and initiated that Abbey make her own egg! She didn't get it right the first time, but with a little encouragement and trying again, she got it! Often times it's easy for parents to do things for the kids because we know we can. But it's about building confidence and independence so kids are able to accomplish tasks on their own.
