This week I show you how to use HP Tuners to find what timing your engine wants at idle, how to adjust your timing at idle, and how to adjust the base idle airflow to get your engine to idle well after a cam swap.

I did notice one error in the video while I was editting... at about the 12:43 mark I forgot to push the equal sign button to enter "30" in the cells that I had highlighted. I went back and changed that in my tune after I noticed the error.

This is all done on a 2000 Chev Silverado with the 5.3L LM7 engine with a VS Racing 7875 turbo. The cam I installed was a SUM-8701 from Summit Racing, the cam install is shown in my last video.
