In this video I show four different ways to permanently disable the auto stop start function in the new generation F1-50 trucks. The first way describes using a trailer tester light to put into the socket in the rear bumper. Doing this tricks the ECU in BCM into thinking that a trailer is connected to the rear of the vehicle. Which will disable the function. However the downside is that you always have to have that trailer tester plugged in. Unplugging the tester set the truck into normal mode. The second Way describes unplugging a connector by brake pedal. i do not prefer this method as leaving connectors unplugged is not a good way about doing things, not to mention issues with the dealer, the 3rd way i describe is with the forscan software. this software allows you to rewrite funtions in the ecu and bcm nmodules, allowing you to permiently disable the auto stop feature. the last way is to install a auto stop-start eliminator.
