Recovery of hydrocarbons, risk reduction and cost in reservoir monitoring have been improving with time. OptoSeismic uses passive fiber-optic technology to cover more surfaces, in deeper waters (3,000 meters). It is safer because electricity isn't needed underwater. The fiber-optics makes finding oil and gas more cost effective and easier to locate.
